Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have arrived in the country following their participation at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.

The players and their officials flew into Abuja on Thursday afternoon via Ethiopian Airlines.

Flying Eagles World Cup hope title ended on Sunday evening after a 1-0 defeat against Korea Republic in their quarterfinals clash at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades in Santiago del Estero.

In the 6th minute of extra-time, Korean’s stunned Nigeria when Choi Seok-Hyun headed home a Lee-Seung-Won corner-kick.

The Flying Eagles have made it to the final of the U-20 World Cup twice in the past.
